We help your business solve tomorrow's problems today

In an increasingly complex, ever-changing world, we are building the software businesses need to make the right decision instantly. We are experts in the Simulation Led philosophy, and we know why Configuration Lifecycle Management is a key challenge in unlocking its potential.

What does Simulation Led mean?

Fidelity

At its core, the Simulation Led philosophy advocates developing models and simulations to a sufficient level of fidelity that they can be used to make decisions rather than simply support them. We believe this is the true definition of a Digital Twin.

Acceleration

Moving expensive validation such as human review and physical prototyping out of the critical path massively speeds up decision-making. Furthermore, refocusing that validation on improving fidelity of methods instead of results makes constant change and improvement easy.

Democratisation

By making models the primary means of capturing domain knowledge, Simulation Led empowers you to exploit expertise that would otherwise be hidden in an expert's brain. Your organisation learns faster and solves its problems more efficiently.
Who are Omniscient?

With decades of experience in the fast-paced, cutting-edge world of Formula 1, we have built, maintained and operated some of the most advanced simulations on the planet. We have worked with countless businesses across sectors such as automotive, defence, aerospace, healthcare and logistics to help them learn from the Formula 1 approach.

What is Configuration Lifecycle Management (CLM)?

In highly configurable systems, configuration is used to enable a single system to serve multiple use cases. These configurations can represent different product designs, operating conditions, customer choices, and so on. In such a system, there can be thousands or even millions of configurations of a system that are relevant at any given point in time. Configuration Lifecycle Management refers to the processes and underlying tools used to oversee how these countless configurations are created, updated, deployed, decommissioned, and so on.

Why is CLM important for being Simulation Led?
In the Simulation Led paradigm, your critical decision path is delegated to a digital twin and supporting tooling that exercises that digital twin against a set of scenarios. Each of these scenarios are a configuration of the digital twin. Multiple teams will be responsible for maintaining components of these configurations, as well as the teams responsible for maintaining the digital twin itself and the evolution of the configuration schema it requires. Especially once businesses attempt to exploit the digital twin at scale (and hence truly become Simulation Led), managing this vast landscape of configuration becomes a key operational bottleneck. This is why effective CLM tooling is so fundamental to the Simulation Led philosophy.
